GroundBridge Conductive Underlayment

For quick, easy 24/7 installations

For quick, easy 24/7 installations

GroundBridge conductive underlayment decreases resistance to ground for any free-lay ESD flooring material, creating a reliable path from the surface of the static-control floor to ground. Used with glue-free ESD tile, there’s no adhesive, no mess, no toxic fumes, and no drying or waiting time – allowing for quick, easy 24/7 installations, even in occupied spaces.

A lightweight material made of conductive cellulose, GroundBridge is designed for use with interlocking ESD tiles or ESD carpet tiles. To create a resilient floating floor, simply snap together vinyl or rubber interlocking tile. For free-floating carpet, join ShadowFX static-dissipative carpet tiles using dimensionally-strong, self-adhering TacTiles®.

Designed for use under interlocking tiles or ESD carpet tile.

ShadowFX Carpet Tiles can be installed over most any existing floor, such as access floors (over bare metal panels or over conductive surfaces like high pressure laminate), ESD epoxy, ESD vinyl tile, bare concrete (with or without moisture issues), and painted and other non-conductive surfaces.

Most ESD floors are installed with a conductive adhesive that forms a conductive ground plane under the floor. But in areas requiring access to underfloor wiring or utilities or chemical-free installation, in 24/7 spaces that cannot be shut down, or in spaces that may be repurposed or the flooring redeployed, a glue-free installation may be a better option.

Replacing a Failing Floor Without Losing Production Time

StaticWorx was asked to evaluate a failing floor in an electronics manufacturing facility. As the building was operational and the client wanted to avoid shutdown, Dave recommended interlocking ESD vinyl tile. StaticWorx installed a 10’ x 10’ test patch. Two months later, the interlocking floor was intact. StaticWorx covered the entire floor in the operational facility with interlocking vinyl tile – without the client’s losing a day of production.
