Perfectly square tiles, gap-free installations

AmeriWorx SVT is precision-milled, an automated process that eliminates human error and guarantees a perfectly square tile. The tile is produced in large format then milled to tile size once the sheet has acclimatized — one more process control that prevents dimensional changes. Therefore, AmeriWorx SVT provides the easiest installations possible without any unsightly gaps between tiles.

Solid-thru construction, dimensionally stable.

Consistently manufactured with identical raw materials, AmeriWorx SVT’s filler-free, solid-thru construction ensures a dimensionally stable, shrink-free tile — again eliminating the possibility of gaps.

In contrast, imported ESD vinyl tile is mixed in small batches containing high concentrations of fillers like
limestone and clay. Small batch processing lacks precision creating tremendous variation in color,
conductivity and material content. Resins are continuously swapped based on local price and availability.

Easy to clean, no expensive waxes required.

Both conductive and color properties run consistently through the entire thickness of AmeriWorx tiles. Tightly controlled by StaticWorx, the company selected the resin used in AmeriWorx after significant research, based in part on clean-ability studies performed in high traffic areas of grocery and retail spaces in Europe. With AmeriWorx SVT, there is no top lamination or wear layer. So unlike VCT tile, expensive waxes and frequent maintenance are not required. Simple routine damp mopping is suggested.

Every single AmeriWorx tile is tested for conductivity.

Each and every AmeriWorx tile produced is electrically tested automatically and verified that it meets ESD specifications before it leaves the plant.

In contrast, a few imported VCT tiles are tested for conductivity with the results considered a representative sample for the entire batch of tiles produced. Furthermore, since every batch of VCT tile varies in fillers and resins, both conductivity and color can vary.

Lifetime warranties on both electrical performance and wear performance.

No other manufacturer offers this “double” guarantee on both static control performance and wear resistance. Traffic will simply not wear out AmeriWorx tiles. Period.

Extremely durable, withstands the demands of forklift traffic.

AmeriWorx will handle 2,500 lbs. of pressure per square inch according to ASTM F970. This converts to 1.25 tons per square inch — easily supporting heavy traffic from forklifts. Scratches and scrapes can simply be buffed out; even abrasive black pads can be used which would destroy many VCT tiles.

Installation peace of mind.

Designed to address installation concerns expressed by the construction industry, AmeriWorx tiles fit together perfectly for gap-free floors. StaticWorx will oversee and be responsible for the installation, providing a 1-year installation warrantee on labor/workmanship at the job site. StaticWorx will test and verify the electrical performance of the finished floor and supply a Certificate of Compliance (COC).

Unaffected by UV rays and humidity.

The color of an AmeriWorx tile is steadfast and will not fade or discolor from UV ray exposure. And being a solid-thru tile, AmeriWorx is completely unaffected by ambient humidity.

Earth friendly and lowest VOC and out-gassing parameters.

AmeriWorx has contributed to three US Green Building Council LEED credits (4.1, 4.2 and 4.3) for low emitting materials and for recycled content: 10.4% pre-consumer recycled content. Enhancing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), AmeriWorx tile maintains the lowest VOC and out-gassing parameters in the industry. Poor air quality is a major contributor to employee illness and associated with Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). AmeriWorx is also the first ESD flooring system to be Floor Score certified in compliance with the most rigorous environmental standards instituted by the State of California. All StaticWorx adhesives contribute toward LEED Credits (4.1) for low emitting adhesives and sealants (zero VOC’s).
