GroundWorx Ultra Generation 3 ESD Epoxy Coating

Project Summary

StaticWorx GroundWorx Ultra Generation 3 epoxy replaced a delaminating interlocking ESD floor in a lab at an aerospace manufacturer. The old floor exhibited signs of a contaminating growth – possibly mold –  on the undersides of the tiles. After removing the old tile, a new GroundWorx Ultra coating was installed with a urethane cement base layer, epoxy body coat and conductive urethane topcoat.

Post-installation electrical measurements:

RTG through a person per STM 97.1 section 5.3 ranged 8.3E05 to 1.3E06 Walking Voltage per STM 97.2 – ranged from 2 to 4 volts
